Three attorneys from Farleigh Wada Witt have been named to the Super Lawyers list as top attorneys in Oregon for 2015. Each year, only five percent of the lawyers in the state are named.
Mark Wada has been listed for the tenth consecutive year in the specialty area of banking. He has more than 30 years of experience representing financial service providers in commercial loan and lease documentation, real estate financings, workout negotiations, and portfolio acquisitions.
Also named for the tenth straight year is Brad Stanford, a litigator with 25 years of courtroom experience. Brad's practice focuses on commercial litigation and he is a recognized leader in ski area defense and recreational products liability defense.
Tara Schleicher was recognized for her work in the bankruptcy and creditors' rights area for the eighth consecutive year and was named to the 2015 Top 50 Oregon Super Lawyers and 2015 Top 25 Women Oregon Super Lawyers lists for receiving the highest point totals in the Oregon nomination. She is one of only seven attorneys in Oregon certified as a business bankruptcy specialist by the American Board of Certification.
In addition, three Farleigh Wada Witt attorneys have been named to the Oregon Rising Stars list, an honor bestowed on only 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state. Trish Walsh, whose practice focuses on commercial litigation and employment law, has been chosen for the third straight year in the primary area of business litigation. Melissa Beyer, whose practice also focuses on commercial litigation, has been chosen for the second time as one of the best attorneys in Oregon under the age of 40 or in practice for less than ten years. Margot Seitz, whose practice focuses on bankruptcy and creditors' rights, has been named for the first time.
Farleigh Wada Witt is proud that six attorneys in three distinct practice areas have been honored by their peers, highlighting the breadth of expertise in our full-service commercial law practice.
