Farleigh Wada Witt has achieved Sustainability at Work's silver certification and is recognized for its leadership helping make Portland one of the cleanest, most sustainable cities in the country.

To earn this honor, Farleigh Wada Witt undertook numerous actions to benefit our local economy, our community and our environment. Sustainability at Work Advisors conducted an onsite visit to Farleigh Wada Witt to verify these actions.

“As we recognize the challenges that climate change and other environmental issues pose to our country and economy, we have been motivated to continue to improve our own sustainability practices and to educate our employees about the changes they can make as well,” says Kim McGair.

Farleigh Wada Witt's significant achievements include establishing a green team; implementing robust waste reduction and recycling programs; reducing waste in firm-provided beverages, encouraging public transit commuting, and offering flexible work schedules resulting in a reduction in commuter trips to the office.
