Melissa practices in a variety of areas including litigation, estate planning, business, environmental, and real estate.  She is a great communicator and her clients appreciate the work she does and how she does it.  Melissa is professional, personable, and compassionate when helping clients deal with unexpected and difficult situations.
She has a diverse litigation practice where she defends small- and mid-sized companies in business, employment, and real estate disputes.
In her estate planning practice, Melissa focuses mainly on probate and trust administration, estate planning, conservatorships and guardianships, and related litigation.  She brings harmony to individuals and families dealing with end-of-life issues, and helps them navigate the probate process from beginning to end.
Melissa is actively involved in the Portland legal community and helps organize events for the Multnomah Bar Association membership committee, University of Oregon Law alumni committee, and Campaign for Equal Justice.  She contributes to the enrichment of the legal profession by donating her time and support to worthy legal causes.
